Fever is the first signal the body gives us in case of infections or viruses. Fever is not a condition, but rather a symptom of a condition that can be treated differently than with allopathic medicines and methods.
Our elders and ancient generations didn’t use antibiotics or Vapo rub to get rid of fever, instead they used natural methods to lower body temperature.
Natural remedies to get rid of fever
1. Rubbing the body with apple cider vinegar speeds up the healing and lowers body temperature. Rest is another option to get rid of fever because your body is week.
Or you can use the “stinky socks method”, by soaking a pair of socks in hot apple vinegar and put them on your feet.
2. The combination of ginger and lemon is very effective and is a guaranteed cure that lowers body temperature. So, prepare a tea from 2 teaspoons of fresh grated ginger root and half a lemon. Let these 2 ingredients to boil for 10 minutes then strain and add 1 teaspoon of honey. Dink 3 cups per day.
3. Mustard seeds tea act very quickly and lowers body temperature. Put in a cup 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and pour over it hot water. Let it to infuse for 10 minutes then add 1 teaspoon of honey. Drink a cup every 2-3 hours until the fever disappears.
4. Lavender flower tea has the same effect of lowering body temperature, and cinnamon powder therapy lowers high temperature. Put 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a hot lavender flowers tea and consume it in half an hour until fever drops.
