Boils are the result of hair follicles infection given by a poor hygiene. It looks like a big and red bump full of pus, and it appears anywhere on your body. The most common areas where it appears are the neck, face, armpits or buttocks, where hair grows and the sweating is more prone. Boil is caused by staph bacteria that enter the body through cuts, scratches and other skin lesions.
How to get rid of boils effectively
To treat boils effectively with natural remedies use onion compresses. There are several ways to do that:
-you can chop an onion and put it in a cotton bag (or a clean cotton sock) then apply it on the affected area.
-also, you can squeeze the onion to get its juice (or place it in the juicer). Soak a piece of sterile gauze in the juice and apply it on the boil as a compress.
-another option is to cut the onion in half and separate it in layers. Take one layers and heat it a little bit over a flame then apply it directly on the boil.
-garlic paste is also very effective and you can obtain it by crushing 3 garlic cloves and mix them until it forms a paste. Then apply the paste over the boil and cover the boil with a bandage.
-the same procedure is with turmeric paste. You can obtain it by mixing turmeric powder with warm water until you get a smooth paste. Then apply the paste over the boil – this way the pus will reach maturation and pain will disappear then the drainage phase can be done.
