Allergies are very annoying, and now that spring is here, we can’t fully enjoy this beautiful season because we’re sneezing and our nose and eyes are itching. Awful, I can say! Instead taking all sorts of allergy pills and eye drops, we can combat spring allergies with natural remedies. Nature gives us allergies, than nature has to combat them! Below you’ll find a list with natural remedies to get rid of allergies, depending on their type!
It helps you relieve the pollen allergy. It’s advisable to consume 1 or 2 teaspoons of honey per day. You have to start this remedy at least with 30 days before pollen appears.
Grind dry nettle, including its root, to prevent all sort of spring allergies. Put the grinded nettle in a jar and leave it a dark place for 1 month. You have to take between 3-6 teaspoons per day, before meals.
It a real help for those who have allergies to egg and milk proteins. All you have to do is to sprinkle cumin over foods that cause you allergies. Slowly the food sensitivity should diminish.
It’s recommended to eat raw dill. 2 or 3 tablespoons of dill, each day for 30 days, should lower your body sensitivity in catching all sorts of allergies.
Another great option to lower your sensitivity to allergies is to consume fresh celery juice or to prepare an infusion from 2 tablespoons of grated celery and to 250 ml of water. Consume celery juice / infusion three times a day before meals.
6. Dandelion and Burdock
Chop the plant roots and leave them to soak in water from 8-10 hours. Boil the chopped roots for 10 minutes, strain the liquid and drink 1 cup three times a day.
7. Red onion
To get rid of allergic bronchitis, prepare red onion syrup. You have to simmer 10 cracked walnuts along with the peels of 5 red onions. Let them boil until the liquid is reduced by half. Let it cool, then strain it and pour it into a jar. Add 2 teaspoons of honey. You have to take daily 1 teaspoon after each meal.
